by Jeff Fisher The High School Football Huddle Sometimes #1 vs. #2 doesn't live-up to the hype... St. Thomas Aquinas and Byrnes did Friday night before a national TV audience on ESPNU. With 15,000 in Lockhart Stadium, top-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas carried the banner for Florida football with a 42-34 win over #2 Byrnes. While the final score was close, according to the Miami Herald it was a couple of first half Raider touchdowns that kept the Rebels fighting an uphill battle.
